GoHighLevel alternative

All-in-one. Without the mess.

Rivera is what GoHighLevel could have been if it was designed as one cohesive product instead of assembled from multiple separate pieces. Same bundle, cleaner system, priced for clarity.

Did your marketing agency set you up on GoHighLevel and then vanish? You're not alone. We hear this every week from small business owners who signed up for "all-in-one software," found themselves navigating a sprawl of different interfaces, and couldn't figure out which dashboard actually ran their business.

This page is for the business owner, not the agency reseller. If you want all the functionality of GoHighLevel in a platform that was actually designed to be one product — keep reading.

The honest comparison.

We're not pretending GoHighLevel has nothing going for it. Here's the real shape of the two platforms.

GoHighLevel
Rivera

Tiered monthly subscription plus metered credits for messaging, AI, and workflow runs. Check current pricing on their site.
$149–399/mo, one transaction rate on payments processed. Everything else is included.
Built for
Primarily marketing agencies reselling to their clients.
Small and growing businesses running themselves.

Limited. Product catalog exists but it's an afterthought.
Real Stripe Connect + Stripe Tax + shipping rates + reviews + variants + dropship (Printful).

Guided. Operational in ~1 week during early access.
Honest head-to-head

Where each platform actually wins.

We're not going to pretend Rivera is better at everything. It isn't. Here's the real read.

Where GoHighLevel wins

If this is your priority, pick GHL.

  • Marketing automation depth. GHL's funnel builders, campaign automation, and pre-built marketing templates are deeper than Rivera's — probably ever.
  • High-volume messaging. If your business runs heavy SMS/email campaigns, GHL's credit-based model may price better at scale than a bundled-in approach.
  • Agency reseller features. If you're building a SaaS business on top of GHL, reselling it to clients under your brand, GHL is purpose-built for that.
  • Massive pre-built template library. Thousands of community-built funnels, campaigns, and automation snapshots to copy-paste.
Where Rivera wins

If this is your priority, pick Rivera.

  • One cohesive system. Not multiple products glued together. Every module speaks the same language because it's one product.
  • Operations, not just marketing. Work orders, contracts, real e-commerce, inventory, reviews, support tickets. GHL is marketing-first; Rivera is operations-first.
  • Transparent pricing. One subscription, one transaction rate. No SMS credits, email credits, AI credits, or workflow metering to predict.
  • AI that knows your business. Lumo has your data as context. GHL's AI is a chatbot that doesn't know you exist until you ask.
  • Built for the operator. Rivera is designed for the person running the business, not the agency reselling the software.

Who should actually pick which.

We'd rather you pick the right tool than pick Rivera. Here's how we'd think about it.

Pick GoHighLevel

If marketing is the engine.

You're running high-volume marketing automation. You live in funnels, landing pages, email sequences, and SMS blasts. Lead generation is 80% of what you do. You're comfortable with a complex, multi-module platform. The breadth is a feature, not a bug.

Pick Rivera

If operations are the engine.

You need to run real work — jobs, orders, contracts, payments, customer relationships, reviews. Marketing matters but it's not 80% of your day. You want clarity, not complexity. You'd pay money to not have to learn a tool.

Common questions from people moving off GHL.

If yours isn't here, ask us directly.

Can I migrate from GoHighLevel to Rivera?

Yes. We help migrate contacts, customer records, order history, and active contracts. Email/SMS sending history doesn't transfer (neither platform owns that data), but your pipeline and customer base do. Most migrations are complete in 1–2 weeks of onboarding.

What happens to my SMS numbers?

Twilio numbers can be ported from GHL to Rivera's Twilio infrastructure. The process takes 5–10 business days (carrier timeline, not ours). You keep your number, your history transfers in CSV, and outbound/inbound SMS resumes in Rivera.

Does Rivera have GoHighLevel-style funnel builders?

Not today. Rivera is operations-first — work orders, contracts, payments, CRM. If deep marketing funnels are core to your business (high-volume lead gen, ad-driven conversion flows), GoHighLevel may be a better fit. Most small businesses don't need them, and the ones who do usually want a dedicated marketing tool on top of their operations system anyway.

What about affiliate and referral programs?

Affiliate/referral tracking is on Rivera's roadmap. If that's a core part of how you acquire customers today, it's worth knowing we're not there yet. For most small businesses, it's a "nice to have" rather than a "must have."
