Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of Rivera's Terms of Service and governs your use of the Rivera platform and services. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use Rivera to create, store, distribute, or facilitate any of the following:
- Illegal products or services: Content promoting or facilitating illegal activities, including but not limited to illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, or human trafficking
- Malware and harmful code: Viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or any software designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Spam and unsolicited communications: Bulk unsolicited emails, SMS messages, or other communications that violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, etc.)
- Harassment and abuse: Content that threatens, harasses, bullies, or intimidates any individual or group
- Hate speech: Content that promotes violence or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Child exploitation: Any content that exploits or endangers minors
- Fraud and deception: Content designed to deceive, defraud, or mislead others, including phishing schemes and scam operations
- Intellectual property violations: Content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of others
- Regulated goods without compliance: Selling firearms, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, tobacco, or other regulated products without proper licensing and compliance measures
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not engage in any of the following activities:
- Scraping and data harvesting: Using automated tools to extract data from the Rivera platform or other users' accounts without authorization
- Reverse engineering: Attempting to decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the Rivera platform or its underlying technology
- Unauthorized access: Attempting to access other users' accounts, data, or any systems or networks connected to Rivera without proper authorization
- Resource abuse: Using Rivera for cryptocurrency mining, excessive automated requests, or any activity that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure
- AI abuse: Using Rivera's AI features to generate spam, misinformation, deepfakes, or content that impersonates real individuals without consent
- Circumventing security: Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with security features, rate limits, or access controls
- Reselling without authorization: Reselling access to Rivera's services or features without a valid agency agreement
- Interfering with the platform: Any action that disrupts, degrades, or interferes with the operation of Rivera or the experience of other users
3. Email and Communication Standards
If you use Rivera's communication features (email, SMS), you must:
- Only send messages to recipients who have given proper consent
- Include accurate sender information and a valid physical address
- Provide a clear and working unsubscribe mechanism
- Honor unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly
- Comply with all applicable anti-spam and telecommunications laws
4. Enforcement
Rivera reserves the right to investigate and take action against violations of this AUP, including but not limited to:
- Warning: Notifying you of the violation and requesting corrective action
- Content removal: Removing or disabling access to content that violates this AUP
- Suspension: Temporarily suspending your account or specific features
- Termination: Permanently terminating your account for severe or repeated violations
- Legal action: Pursuing legal remedies for violations that cause harm to Rivera, its users, or third parties
We may take enforcement action without prior notice in cases involving illegal activity, immediate harm to others, or severe policy violations.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any content or activity on Rivera that violates this AUP, please report it to us at [email protected]. We will investigate all reports promptly.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Significant changes will be communicated through the Services or by email.
